Obituary
BERNADETTE SUE BUCKLEW SIRK, 66, of Terra Alta, died Saturday September 22, 2007, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, MD. She was born November 12, 1940 in Terra Alta, a daughter of the late Raymond Buckner and Bernadette Friend Bucklew. She attended the Terra Alta Wesleyan Church. She retired from Hopemont State Hospital as the Arts and Crafts Coordinator. She was a loving mother and grandmother with her family being the center of her life. She was very proud of every one of their accomplishments. She is survived by a son, Bobby Brean Sirk Jr., of Stockport, OH; two daughters and spouses, Patty Jo and Charlie Lewis, of Terra Alta and Diane Carole and K.P. Parker, of Grafton; four brothers and spouses, James R. and Tiney L. Bucklew, of Crellin, MD, David R. and Roxie M. Bucklew, of Briery Mountain, T. Roger and Emma Lee Bucklew, of Swannanoa, NC, and Charles W. and Teresa Bucklew, of Terra Alta; eight grandchildren, Charles R. Lewis II and spouse Caroline, William W. Lewis and spouse Carolanne, Summer L. Brewer, Chloe H. Riley and spouse Bobby, Bobby B. Sirk III, Joel W. Ridgway, Jordan L. Ridgway and Cetera D. Parker and 5 great grandchildren, Emma E. and Anthony M. Lewis, Gabrielle L. Gank, Reno A. Ross and Alexis M. Riley, and will be blessed with another in November. She also received great enjoyment from her four legged family members, Buttons, Curly, Star and other beloved dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Brean Sirk Sr., in 1974 and an infant sister, Judith Ann Bucklew. There will be a celebration of life service held Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, with visiting time from 1:00 until the 4:00 p.m. time of service with John Mauldin officiating. Burial will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery, Terra Alta.

I do want to exspress my deepest heartfelt sarrow, Sue and I were best friends for a life time. We grew up together. and remained in touch for 60 years. I have lots of memories as I know you all do and that is a good thing.
