Randy & Dawna HeldtOur hearts go out to the family and friends of this American hero. Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to meet you Robert but feel like we know you well through your brother Jason and the rest of your family. Your death is a tragic reality to war and the scars that it leaves on the men and women that serve. We pray for you and the family that you leave behind. May you find a quiet place in heaven. RIP Robert Kislow.
best regards, Randy & Dawna Heldt
Paul ButlerI am sorry to hear of this tragedy. I was in Robert's platoon in the 82nd and I was one of the other guys that got shot in the his same firefight. I did not get much of a chance to know him very well because he was not in our company very long before we deployed. It is hard to see another brother leave this earth and hard to know what was going through his head. I knew he had some PTSD and rightfully so after what he went through. He is the third person in the platoon we were in to take his life since being out of the army. RIP my thoughts go out to the family.
Brandon TeagueMy sincere and heartfelt condolences to the entire family. I was Rob's company commander in Afghanistan and I was there with him when he was wounded. I know there are no words that can help the pain that everyone that was close to him have to be going through, but just know that there is a multitude of people that knew Rob and they have been posting their grievances to both families involved. If there is anything that you need please let me know and I will do my best to get you answer. -LTC Brandon Teague
Bob FaroAs a veteran, the father of a Marine nearly killed by an IED in Afghanistan and a very vocal supporter of all who serve I want to offer my thoughts, prayers and condolences to the families involved. May God rest his soul. And may our government be proactive in being there for those who served who now need the government to be there for them.
Tim & Jamie HoffertBob, Kathy and all of your family,

Gail CervaBob Sr, Dolores, Amanda I was so sorry to hear the news just yesterday from a co-worker from DPW. I never actually met Bob III, but hear so much from his grandfather I felt I knew him just a bit. I was in the stands at Coca Cola Park for the proposal during the Big & Tall, Gretchen Wilson concert and thought what a great guy, to pull his live together. A hero for his service to my and this country.
