Justine Hoffman, age 80, of Sandusky, died Wednesday night, June 15, 2011, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Oka, West Virginia, and graduated from Calhoun High School in Grantsville, West Virginia. She was employed by Philco, Barr Rubber, and New Departure-Hyatt before retiring.
She is survived by two sons Harold "Gene" (Adele) Hoffman, and Richard "Dick" (Barbie) Hoffman both of Castalia; 5 grandchildren Katie (Eric) Berg, Karen (Ryan) Berg, Bradley, Michenzi, all of Castalia, and Zachary of Newstrawn, KS; 4 great grandchildren Jana, Julia, Jace, and Gavin Berg; one sister Eloise Conley Zech and one brother Donald Tucker both of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
Justine was preceded in death by her husband Harold Hoffman, Sr. in 2010; her parents, and a sister in infancy.
Friends may call from 11 AM Monday, June 20, 2011, until time of services at 12 Noon in the Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Pastor Don Scurlock of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
