Stephen A. Tokash, age 90, of Massillon, died Monday after an extended illness. Born in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania, he had been a North Canton and Massillon resident since 1967. He was retired from Saunders Cartage after 20 years of service. Stephen was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Our Lady of Lourdes Council No. 4533 K. of C., Msgr. Graham Assembly 4th Degree K. of C., and American Legion Post 221. Preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanora H. Tokash in 1996 and a daughter, Suellen Staats in 2008. Survived by his wife, Glenelda Tokash of the home; two daughters, Loretta Duda of Massillon and Joan E. Tokash of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Patricia Tokash of Anderson, South Carolina; step son, George R. Jordan and his wife, Liz of Canton; two step daughters, Sharon Guertal and her husband, Gregory of Canton and Janet Keating of Columbus; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 A.M. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Fr. William Kraynak as Celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. The 4th Degree K. of C. will provide an Honor Guard during calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aultman Hospice.
