Val StewartWords cannot convey the sorrow I feel for the loss of Katie; and the empty space that has been left with her passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, Cathy & Steve, her husband Liam, and the rest of the family and friends, too numerous to mention; as Katie touched so many lives. Though she left us much too soon, she will live on in our hearts and memories; and her children will be a constant source of joy that she brought to this world and left in our safe keeping. God bless and keep you Katie, and may you rest in peace.
Elizabeth JenningsSteve, words cannot adequately express my sorrow for yours and your families loss. Katie was an amazing woman. Whenever I saw her she had a smile on her face. When I would pull up to a job site and see your truck I was always glad to see you but I truly looked forward to seeing Katie. She was an amazing person who I know has touched many lives and I know her heart and memories of her will continue to touch lives forever.
I so vividly remember the day I first met Madalyn, I was on the big job for Dan Wohlgemuth in Hollis that you both did and Katie came in with this most adorable young lady in tow, Madelyn had on the cutest plaid skirt. I remember thinking how sweet of Katie to have one of her neices with her. Then Madelyn called Katie mommy and my jow dropped. I thought Katie must have been 5 years old when she had this young lady. Then of course we got talking about how Madelyn was such a girly girl and Katie was so not, but you could see the love and pleasure in Katies eyes as she talked about her daughter.
Then Liam came into Katies life and I had both of you working on a job for me in Nashua and the customer was adament that everything was wrapped up on this particular evening and you and Katie were in the kitchen trying to pull everything together and Katie is going dad we have to get going I haven't even changed into my dress yet and we are going to be late for the wedding rehearsal. I joked with her about wanting to see a picture of this, her in a dress, she said you will never see it again, but she was beaming.
Then she got pregnant with Lillian and she was the picture of a perfect prenant mom to be.
I loved talking to her about what was going on in her life and the girls. She had been in to see me about a counter top for her mother in law not long ago and we walked out to her vehicle together and she was telling me about getting certified for Zumba, she was so excited.
Katie had a love for life and her family. Ask her about you or the girls and she would smile and light up.
I considered Katie a friend and always will. She had a heart the size of the universe. I wish I could do something to turn back time, but as time marches forward I will never forget the positive wonderful things this young woman brought to me and everyone else she touched. Steve I consider you such a good friend as I did Katie and if there is anything I can do for you or your family please let me know. Katie will be missed but never forgotten.
Kim BeaudetteCathi, Maddy, and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

We are never sure of which pain is worse, the shock of what happened or the ache of what never will. To lose someone you love is to alter you life forever. One cannot image what it is like to have done what you did Steve, I only hope you can find some comfort in knowing everything was done that was possible to save Katie while you were at her side. I know your pain...on June 21 2013 I walked in your foot steps ...as a Vol firefighter responding to a MVA I held my sons hand, worked on him, breathed for him as my brothers worked to free him for over an hour. I wouldn't of wanted to be at any other place then by his side. Stay strong Brother and know we care you are not alone.

Gayle Lorden WadeWhen I heard about Katie, all I could think about was the terrible heartache your family is going through. I didn't know Katie but by the sounds of everything written about her, she was such a bright light to everyone around her. I've always known about your family since I grew up in Milford and you probably know my Uncles Freddie and Frances along with all of their kids who have probably been touched by your Katie as well as all of you. Katie being born, here on this earth was a gift to everyone to be able to recieve her bright light she shared on a daily basis just with her smile alone. As deep as your sadness is now, will be the great joy you will have when you see her again. Everyone has their arms around your family here on earth and all our family in heaven have their arms around Katie now.
