Meg SalingerI found myself searching today for the meaning of the name Noreen - and how well it fits our Noreen...Irish in origin. meaning: "woman of honor," it also means "light." Never before has Webster given a definition that so fits. You were the light for so many and always, always a woman of honor and dignity. A bell rang yesterday and an angel got her wings. Blessed are those of us who got to be a part of your life. Meg Salinger, Alli, Matt and Katie Salinger, Gettysburg, PA
Bill, Dawn and Steph HendersonNoreen: your smile, your laughter, your love is something we will never forget. You are my hero...a good and fatithful friend to all. We will miss you so much but we know you are in a much better place, free of pain and we know you will be watching over us all...God met you at the pearly gates and said Well done! You fought a good fight and never gave up...
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you
and whispered, "Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you
pass away and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay. A Golden heart
stopped beating. Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
Rest in Peace my friend...miss ya and love ya

Paulette AndersSteve, Sarah, Laura and Jack - It was with much sorrow I learned about Noreen's passing. It is clear that she was very strong in her faith and I hope that gives you some comfort that she is in her forever home without pain or suffering. I can still remember Noreen's huge smile as she proudly brought the kids by the Mount's admissions office to visit Daddy at work. Jack would be running around and Sarah & Laura would be the poised young ladies as we all stood in the hallway and just watched Jack. All we could do was laugh. From the pictures and updates I heard from your Dad last year, you all are wonderful young adults. You mom did her job well. Steve, I know you have lost your best friend and I pray, the memories and the your beautiful children sustain you. God bless you all, Paulette

Tom KittingerAs director of the G-burg Civic Chorus, I only had the opportunity to meet and enjoy Noreen's caring and giving personality for a very short time. Noreen sang with us for only a semester, and then her family obligations and illness sent her in a different direction. I have heard nothing but very positive accolades regarding Noreen and her role with her loving family and everyone she came in contact with. I am only sorry I didn't have the opportunity to learn to know her better. May God's Blessings and healing strength be with her entire family, and all those who knew her well, and for the great loss to St. Francis Xavier Church.
Alex FataMrs Neitz, you were such a considerate and nurturing person. I feel blessed to have had the honor of having you as a part of my life. I'm going to miss being able to refer to you for any guidance needed, and you have touched my life by teaching me how to always be caring, no matter the circumstances, and to always have a smile on my face, the way you did. You have guided me along with countless ot...her youth in ways that gave us direction in life. You were such a brave soul. Some people choose which battles they fight, but God gave some of his toughest battles to you because He knew that you could handle it. You have taught me that, even though the odds may not be favorable, any battle can be won. Your bravery and courage to fight through any and every obstacle truly inspires me, and I'm sure you will be greeted at God's gate with a smile and a warm embrace, just as you always greeted me. Thank you so much for all the selfless time and service you've devoted to bettering our Church and community. You will be missed, and I'm sure you'll watch over us. God bless you and your family, Mrs. Neitz.

To you we extend our deepest condolences at your tremendous loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Noreen was always so kind and pleasant. When I would see her at the nursing home where I work when she came with the kids from St. Francis it was always just a joy to speak with her. Once after I had surgery and the bus didn't pick up Elizabeth, I called the school and she came to the house herself to make sure Elizabeth got to school.
