Donald C. Slusser, age 96, of Greentown, died Sunday morning. Born in Canton, he had been a Greentown resident for 61 years. He retired in 1977 from the Hoover Co. after 33 ½ years of service. Donald was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post 436 in Greentown and the Disabled American Veterans. He was an avid gardener. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Miriam F. Slusser of the home; daughter, Sharon, Zastudil; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel J. and Joetta Slusser all of Jackson Township; two grandchildren, Richard Scott Zastudil of Michigan and Tiffany A. Davis (Rick) of Stow; and a great granddaughter, Amberly A. Neice. Preceded in death by a brother, Russ Slusser. Services will be Thursday at 11 A.M. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 P.M.
