Jason Andrew King
June 22, 1973 - March 2, 2013
Jason passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 2, 2013 on Saginaw Bay, doing what he loved-fishing. He was 39 years of age. He was born on June 22, 1973 in Flint to Ronald King and Janet Steinbrecher. He will always be remembered for his unending energy and passion for life. Jason loved to hunt, fish, play poker, and play softball. He enjoyed coaching his children's baseball and softball teams.
Jason was employed by Sheet Metal Workers Local 7( S & Z Sheet Metal). Surviving him are his two children: Alexandria M. and Hunter A. King of Flushing; the mother of his children, Geri King of Flushing; his dad, William F. Springer of Owosso; his father, Ronald (Beckie) King of Florida; two brothers: William J (Angela) Springer of Mt. Pleasant and Matthew King of Florida; nieces and nephews: Mason, Silas, Micah, Justice and Acadia; his companion, Julie Parrish of Reese; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, two brothers: Barry King and Christopher Stouilil, and his grandparents.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 8 at 5:00pm at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home in Chesaning. Diane Hungerford will officiate. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorials are suggested to his children's education fund.
