Jorge Anthony Davis, 23, of Kansas City, Missouri, went on to spread his wings on August 9, 2013. Affectionately known as “Boss”, Jorge was born May 18, 1990 to George Davis and Inetta Walker, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Walker. Jorge was a graduate of Center High School and later enlisted in the United States Army, where he served as a Water Purification Specialist. He was also a member of the 299th Brigade Support Battalion where he fought in Iraq for his country. Jorge furthered his education enrolling in Vatterott College where, he was seeking his Electrician Certification. Jorge loved to shop and stay up on the latest and greatest of fashion. He enjoyed watching Sports Center on ESPN, playing video games and spending time with his family and friends. His life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which he lived. Davis, Sr. of Cleveland, OH, DelMeko Brown of Kansas City, MO and Willie B. “Putta” Davis of Kansas City, KS; sister, RaShawnda Walker of Raymore, MO; maternal grandmothers, Alice Walker of Kansas City, KS and Lorelia “Dan Dan” Ferguson of Kansas City, MO; aunts, Dorothy DeClue, Brenda Dooley (Cornell), Toya Brown, LaNita Brown all of Kansas City, MO, Frenchye Hooks (Victor) of Kansas City, KS and Pasty Barnes of Lee's Summit, MO; uncles, Versell Walker, Clarence Brown (Lois), Antonio Brown, DeMarco Brown all of Kansas City, MO and Lorn Brown, Jr. (Bebe) of Raytown, MO; niece, Kayla Davis; nephews, Quentin Davis and Demetrius D. Davis, Jr. both of Cleveland, Ohio and special nephews, Daron Anthony McGee of Raymore, MO and DelMeko Brown, Jr. of Kansas City, MO; Ralonda “B-Londa” Brown whom he affectionately called Mom; best friend, LaRon Wright and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Church of God In Christ. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the church. Service conducted by Duane E.
