Richard Stanley Frost “Frosty”, “Dickey”
Richard Frost passed on to be with our Lord on February 1, 2011. He was comforted in his last moments of life and surrounded by his family he loved so dearly. He adored his children, grandchildren and great grand children and will be greatly missed.
Richard's life was filled with many family events that included camping, traveling, parties, and a passion for riding his cherished 1958 Pan Head Harley Davidson. Richard was born in Peebles, Ohio on April 25, 1939 as the only child to Eunice Elizabeth Johnson and Cash Stanley Frost. At Peebles high school he enjoyed playing on the basketball and baseball teams. After he graduated in 1957, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. While in the service he received training and commendations and was honorably discharged in 1965. On Nov. 25, 1962 he married his lifelong love Lupe Juarez. Together they raised two children Gradine Elizabeth and Rowena Jean. He loved his girls very much! During Richard's life he was employed at Mafi Trench and Shakey's Pizza, along with being a self employed landscaper. He retired after working a total of 19 years for the Orcutt Union School District. Richard enjoyed his membership in the motorcycle club “Saddle Lites”, he served as President and Drill Captain. He loved to ride and shared some great trips with his wife and friends. Richard also held four A.S. degrees which he acquired from Allan Hancock College from 1974 to 1976.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife Lupe Frost. He is survived by his daughter Rowena Jean Frost Lambert and his son in law Jaime Lambert Sr., their children Alyssa Frost Gutierrez, Jaime Lambert Jr., and Jayden Trinidad Lambert. He is also survived by his daughter Gradine Elizabeth Frost and her children Amanda Frost Lopez, Moses Gutierrez, Isaiah Gutierrez and Destinee Chavez. His memory will live on with his great grandchildren Yvette Mia Iniquez (she was the light of his life and his inspiration for staying as long as he did), Inez Yazmine Lopez and Moses Gutierrez Jr.

Beverly KaiI am a former co-worker of Frosty's from the Orcutt School District and always enjoyed visiting with him when he came to get his paycheck or see him at Orcutt Burger. My sincerest and deepest sympathy to Lupe and family. Frosty will be missed by many!
