Lynne Rahe Byrd finished her finest marathon yet as she sprinted through the heavenly gates in the early morning of Wednesday August 14, 2013. Over the past 18 months Lynne fought a courageous battle against a rare form of intestinal cancer, demonstrating a courage few people could emulate.

Hearts are broken and she will be missed beyond words, but our loss is truly heaven's gain.
