He enjoyed backpacking, camping and touring on his motorcycle with friends who referred to themselves as “Hard Core Soft Serve”. Dan possessed an affinity for anything mechanical, but had a tender place in his heart for his farm animals. Survivors include his parents of Rockford; brother, Stephen J.
