He was born November 18, 1980, the son of Vickie J. Richards of Cold Spring, TX and Gerald C. Libengood of Mt. Pleasant. Jason graduated from Ligonier Valley High School in 1999, attended the University of Pittsburgh and then entered the United States Air Force. Jason worked for AGCO in Jackson, MN. Jason was an incredible father to his adorable son Tevin and enjoyed spending every moment with him. He was a die hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan, a loving son, brother, and friend. Jason had a zest for life and made every minute count. He could put a smile on anyone's face, and could cook a mean Thanksgiving turkey. Though he spent time in more than a few small towns across America, he most loved the time he spent in Ligonier with his closest friends. In addition to his son and his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Amanda (Jeffrey) Whitehead of Wayne, PA and Rebecca (Joshua) Leidy of Ligonier, his paternal grandfather, Gerald "Pap" Liebengood, Sr. of Mt. Scott and Mary Wallace McDowell. She was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church where she had served as deacon, elder, and Sunday school teacher to children for over 50 years. The young children often referred to her a "Grandma Church." She was born March 17, 1916 to the late Samuel and Cartoline Cassidy Fuller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel, her sister, Sue, her husband, William H. Schove and their daughter Caroline Schove. She was a graduate of the Margaret Morris College at Carnegie Institute of Technology. She was an active member of Wallace Memorial Church while she lived in Pittsburgh. She worked as Camp Director beginning in 1963 for the Girl Scouts of Southwestern Pennsylvania Camp Henry Kaufmann, and then served as Director of Camping Services until she retired in 1978. Following her retirement, Martha Lou moved to the Ligonier area. She was an active volunteer and played a leadership role in many prganizations through 2007. Among them were the Loyalhanna Watershed Assoc, the Western Pennsylvania section of the American Camp Assoc, the Touchstone Center for Crafts, the Ligonier League of Women Voters and Meals on Wheels. During these years she also travelled extensively, visiting places ranging from Papua New Guinea to Antarctica. She immeresed herself in the culture of each of her destinations and touched lives, both close to home and in her travels, with her generous spirit. Her memory will live in those who knew and loved her. He was a member of the Sportsmen's Assoc. of Greensburg and the Ligonier Valley YMCA. Tom was an avid biker, downhill skier, and enjoyed competitive target shooting.
