She was born October 18, 1973 in Washington, a daughter of Joseph and Joyce Pellman Piasente of Bridgeville. Mrs. Dufresne was a 1992 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. She was a member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Meadow Lands. Mrs. Dufresne worked at the Rite Aide in Washington and was a Avon representative . She was associated with the M.S. Society, was an avid Steelers and Penguin fan, enjoyed bowling and spending time with her nephews. On August 10, 2010 she married James P. Dufresne, Jr. who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are: a brother, Joseph A. Piasente (Elizabeth) of Pittsburgh; maternal grandparents Charles and Virginia Pellman of Houston; four nephews, Nicholas Piasente, Jack and Mason Bauer and D.J. Long; father and mother in law, James and Diane Dufresne, Sr., of Houston and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Deceased are her paternal grandparents, Fred and Margaret Piasente and her mother in law, Shirley Dufresne. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and the great outdoors, but most important was the time he spent with his family. On May 3, 1978, he married Rita Brooks who passed away December 24, 2009.
