Joan had retired from Eastman Kodak where she had worked as a payroll clerk for many years. She loved to sew and travel with her husband. Jones, age 54 of Harvest Road, died 12/16/2014 at her home following an 8 month battle with brain cancer. Ms. Jones attended the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Albion, and worked as a Social Worker for Lifetime Care. She founded an organization called Tiara Dreams which provided Prom Dresses to young ladies who couldn’t afford to purchase a dress. Tracey was an avid reader and kept up-to-date on current events. She whole-heartedly enjoyed the Celebration of Easter Sunday and had a great love of music. That along with her love of God were two main driving forces in her life. Nayman, age 76 of Brown Road, died suddenly 12/12/2014. He was born 1/24/1938 in Albion to Frank and Marie(Romanowski)Nayman and was a lifetime resident of this area. Mr. Nayman was a Veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves, a member of Holy Family Parish, a graduate of RIT, and retired as an Engineer from RG&E. Fran was the Owner/Operator of Nayman’s Garage since 1959 and was a well know figure in Local Democratic Politics having served many years on the Orleans County Democratic Committee. As a Public Servant, he served on the Orleans County Board of Supervisors in the late 70’s and then served as an Orleans County Legislator for 1 term in the early 80’s. Mr. Nayman also served as a Village of Albion Trustee, and for many years held the Office of Supervisor for the Town of Albion. Fran was also a former member of the Oak Orchard Yacht Club where he taught boating and was very active in his community on various committees and in many organizations including the Albion Fire Department Hart Hose Company. He truly enjoyed socializing and spending time with people as well as helping out where and when he could.
