He had most recently been a resident of Aspen Grove, Lambertville, MI. Don was born in Toledo on June 25, 1929 to Harvey and Angela (Sanzenbacher) Bodi. He married Audrey Contat on May 14, 1949 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Toledo, OH just prior to moving to Quantico, VA where he served in the US Marine Corps. He returned from military duty to Toledo and worked for the railroad and several other factories until joining the Toledo Fire Department in 1957. He retired as a Lieutenant in 1987. Don was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and the Toledo Retired Firefighters Association. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was supportive and very generous with his children and family. Don was preceded in death by his wife Audrey. He is survived and will be missed by his children, Susan Majoros, Michael (Elaine) and Christopher (Sonya) Bodi; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Corrine) and Josh Majoros, Melanie (Shaun) Parker, Heather (Robert) Burgett, Ben Bodi and Samantha Bodi; and great grandchildren, Collin, Audrey, Ryan, Grace, Cambria, and Sophia. He is also survived by special friend Zonie Estrel to whom the family is very grateful. He graduated from Woodward High School and joined the US Air Force during the Korean War serving 4 years with the Strategic Air Command. He retired from Midwest Fluid Power Co. He was an avid golfer and was a member of The Retired Golf League Division 4. Charlie was an avid Notre Dame, Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers fan. He also enjoyed vacationing with his family. He was very proud of his 4 grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events. He was a parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Peg was a 1954 graduate of DeVilbiss High School in Toledo and went on to get her teaching degree (1959) and later a Masters Degree (1975) from the University of Toledo. For over thirty years, Peg worked as a teacher and reading specialist for Toledo Public Schools. Peg had a remarkable rapport with students of all ages and subjects. As coach of Harvard School gymnastics and tumbling, her teams won three city championships. Peg also coached teams that won city track titles and competed in the girls’ basketball playoffs. As a science teacher, Peg chaired the science fair and many of her students received awards at the regional event at the University of Toledo. Her language arts students experienced literature and theater firsthand through her production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore. She completed her teaching career as a reading specialist at Westfield School where she brought her passion for learning to young readers. Peg was a lifetime member of the Hampton Park Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She faithfully served as an elder, choir member, and worked on numerous community mission projects. Peg was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star - Samaria Chapter #391, and held leadership positions at the local, regional and national level. She loved working with young people as an advisor for Rainbow Girls, DeMolay and church youth. She was also active in Amaranth and the Order of Kindred. In addition, Peg was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society for Women Educators and the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Toledo. She loved her own dogs and her golden retriever grand dogs. On June 18, 2008, Peg married Wilbur ‘Mac’ McCoy whose life ended in the same tragic accident. She is survived by her three children, Penny (Jeff) Dreps, Paul (Dawn) Prichard and Pete (Michele) Prichard, brother-in-law Mark (Chris) Prichard, her precious grandchildren Kevin and Adam Zielinski, Erin (Nicolas) Perotte, Eric, Isaac, Sam and Hannah Prichard. Peg is preceded in death by her first husband John G. He was born on August 23, 1936 to Wilbur E. and Ruth McCoy in Toledo, OH. Mac was a 1954 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. After graduation, Mac enlisted in the U.S. Army where he began his career in electronics and engineering. Following his enlistment, Mac began his 10 year career at Hillabrand Electronics, where he worked at WMHE 92.5/Muzak as the Chief Engineer while studying digital electronics at Bell and Howell Schools. Mac also worked as an Electronics Engineer at Owens Illinois for over 20 years before his retirement in the year 2000. His retirement allowed him to focus his time on his family and interests, which include boating, car restoration, carpentry and woodworking, computers and electronics, model railroading, and photography. Mac was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association, a member of the Harbor View Yacht Club, Bayfield Owners Association, Corsa (Corvair Society of America) and an editor and publisher of the quarterly newsletter for the Brush Owners Association. On June 18, 2008, Mac married Margaret “Peg” (Dehnhardt) McCoy. He graduated from Scott High School and was employed at Willys Overland in 1947. He served his country in the US Army from 1951-1953, stationed in Europe. He was a member of the UAW Local 12, and the American Legion Argonne Post in North Toledo. When he retired from Chrysler Jeep in 1997, he was among the top employees in seniority at the plant, with 50 years of service. Stephen is survived by his sister, Sister Mary Virginis of Livonia, MI; brother, John (Peggy) Musielewicz of Britton, MI; nieces, Marcy (Tim) Johnston and Emily (Kris) Swanson; and nephews, Ted (Lisa), Adam, Daniel (Darcie), and Joel Musielewicz. In her younger years she worked with her family at the Sujkowski Funeral Home, was a founding member of St. Jude Parish in 1957, a member of the American Legion Przybylski Post 642 Auxiliary for over 40 years and member of Salon 101, 8+40. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church. Her family, church and country were the focus of her life. She also loved working in the yard with her flowers, feeding the birds, sewing and art. She was always cooking something and if you visited you never left hungry. Alvina was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1998. Surviving are her daughter Antoinette "Toni" Filas, and sons Michael and Robert (Michalle); loving grandchildren, Mark (Cindy) Filas, Kim (Allen) Underwood, David (Christie) Filas, Jason (Debbs) Sobieralski and Jennifer (Craig) Bruning; great grandchildren - who lovingly called her GG - Laurel, Taylor, Elly, Clayton, Hudson, Lacie, Sydney, Carson and Caitlyn; and one brother Valentine (Rita) Sujkowski.
